Disclosure
How this site makes money.
Some links to software vendors are affiliate links. If you start a paid subscription through one, the vendor pays a referral fee. It costs you nothing extra.
What an affiliate link is
A link with a tracking parameter. The vendor records that the visit came from this site. If that visit becomes a paying account, the vendor pays a commission — typically a fixed amount per qualified account, or a percentage of the first year's subscription.
You pay the same price either way. The vendor's price list does not change because of the link, and no discount is withheld from you for arriving without one.
What it does not affect
- Rankings. Products are ordered by fit for a stated shop size, not by payout.
- Verdicts. Several pages recommend the cheaper product or the one that pays less.
- Prices. Every figure is read from the vendor's own page. A commission never changes a number.
- Coverage. Vendors with no affiliate programme are covered when they matter to readers.
Which vendors pay
As of 24 October 2026: no vendor pays this site. Applications to the Jobber and Housecall Pro affiliate programmes are under review; until one is approved, every vendor link is a plain link that pays nothing. When that changes, this paragraph changes with it. The verdicts do not.
Display advertising
The site may carry display advertising once traffic supports it. Ads are sold by a network, not by us, and ad placement is not sold to vendors directly. No advertiser gets editorial input.
What we don't do
No sponsored articles. No paid "best of" inclusion. No vendor approval of copy before it publishes. No consulting, implementation or support — if you buy software, the vendor supports it, not this site.
