Kickserv pricing: five users for $60 a month, and what $59 more buys

Start is $60/mo for five users, Run $119 for ten and Scale $199 for twenty, with 20% off annual billing and a 30-day trial. What each tier adds, the per-login cost at every size, and how it compares with Jobber and Housecall Pro at the same headcount.

The short answer

Start, $60/mo, covers five people — $12 a login, well under half what Jobber or Housecall Pro charge a five-person team. Run, $119, doubles the seats to ten and adds dispatch mapping and GPS check-ins. Annual billing takes 20% off. For one person Jobber's annual Core is cheaper, and Kickserv publishes no card processing rate, so get that in writing before you move payments over.

Kickserv has the lowest published price for a multi-user team in this category, and it is not close. Five logins for $60 a month is in the range the two best-known products charge for a single login month-to-month — $49 at Jobber, $79 at Housecall Pro. The question is not whether it is cheap. It is what the pricing page does and does not tell you, and at which headcount the bands stop working in your favour.

Every figure below was read from kickserv.com/pricing on 24 October 2026.

The three plans

Plan Users Monthly Annual (20% off) Per login, monthly
Start 5 $60/mo $48/mo $12.00
Run 10 $119/mo $95.20/mo $11.90
Scale 20 $199/mo $159.20/mo $9.95

Kickserv’s page states the annual discount — “Save 20% with annual subscription” — rather than an annual price, so the annual column is that discount applied to the monthly rate. Every plan comes with a 30-day free trial, the longest of any vendor in the pricing index.

What each tier adds, as the pricing page lists it:

  • Start — an embeddable contact form, automated email and text reminders, more than 20 business reports, time tracking, expense tracking and QuickBooks Online integration.
  • Run — everything in Start, plus dispatch mapping, GPS check-ins, custom data fields and custom reports. QuickBooks Desktop integration is available at $50 a month extra.
  • Scale — everything in Run, plus custom templates and review requests.

The pricing table lists what each tier adds rather than the base product. Scheduling, estimates, invoicing and online payments through Stripe are described on Kickserv’s product pages and are the reason the software exists; confirm the specific workflow you need in the trial.

What it costs against the two best-known products

Annual billing on all three, cheapest published plan at each headcount:

Users Kickserv Jobber Housecall Pro
1 $48 · Start $29 · Core $59 · Basic
3 $48 · Start $149 · Connect $149 · Essentials
5 $48 · Start $149 · Connect $149 · Essentials
8 $95.20 · Run $229 · Connect $299 · Max
10 $95.20 · Run $229 · Connect $369 · Max + 2
15 $159.20 · Scale $299 · Connect $544 · Max + 7

At five users Kickserv is $101 a month cheaper than either — $1,212 a year. At ten it is $134 cheaper than Jobber and $274 cheaper than Housecall Pro. The only row Kickserv loses is the first: for a sole trader, Jobber’s annual Core undercuts a plan built for five.

The other two are not identical products at those prices, and the Jobber vs Kickserv comparison sets the published feature lists side by side. But the gap is large enough that the burden of proof sits with the dearer product.

The step from Start to Run

Run costs $59 a month more than Start and buys three things: five more seats, dispatch mapping and GPS check-ins.

If you are a five-person shop that needs a map of where the crew is, Run is the plan even though you will not fill its seats — and at $95.20 a month on annual billing it is still well under the $149 that Jobber and Housecall Pro charge for five. If you only need the schedule and the invoice, stay on Start until the sixth hire.

QuickBooks Desktop users should price Run at $169 a month, not $119: Desktop sync is a $50 add-on, while Online sync is included from Start.

What the pricing page does not say

The card processing rate. Kickserv lists Stripe as an integration but publishes no rate on its pricing page. Jobber and Housecall Pro both do. On $30,000 a month of card payments a single percentage point is $300 a month — more than Kickserv’s subscription — so ask for the rate in writing during the trial and compare it with what you pay today.

What Kickback is worth. The Kickback programme takes 5% off the subscription when you process at least $1,000 a month in online payments on Start, $2,000 on Run or $3,000 on Scale; on annual plans the minimum is multiplied by twelve. On Start that is $3 a month. Choose Kickserv for the software, not the discount.

What happens above twenty users. Scale is the top published band. A shop past twenty logins is outside the page.

Where Kickserv is the wrong buy

  • You work alone. Jobber’s annual Core is $29 a month against $48 for a five-user plan you cannot fill.
  • Most of your revenue arrives by card and you have not seen the rate. The subscription saving can disappear into processing. Get the number first.
  • You need route planning or flat-rate pricing at the door. Neither appears in Kickserv’s tier lists; Housecall Pro’s Essentials tier lists both. Ask in the trial before you assume either way.

How to buy it

  1. Count your logins and pick the band: up to five on Start, ten on Run, twenty on Scale.
  2. Use the full 30 days on live work — real jobs, real quotes, one real payment.
  3. Get the card rate in writing, and price QuickBooks Desktop sync if you use it.
  4. Start monthly; move to annual after a busy season. Annual saves $144 a year on Start and $285.60 on Run.
